Audacity Adventures

Training Information

Learn how easy it is for students and teachers to record, edit, and add music to create an audio recording in Audacity. 

The hands-on portion of this session will allow attendees to use Audacity and a microphone to create audio recordings that can be used in many applications such as PowerPoint, Movie Maker, podcasting, and much more. 

Teachers and students can be transformed into newscasters, storytellers, literary commentators, and problem solvers while using this free software.  Audio recordings fit into almost every subject area. 

When - Tuesday, December 4th, 3:30 – 4:30 PM

What - An interactive paid training session

Copyright Laws

Educators need to know current copyright laws, model good practices, and teach them to students.

Be sure to check the copyright policy of all music, images, and video before using in a project or distributing over the internet.
